• Search for secondary causes of OP:

• • T score < -2.0
  • History of minimal trauma fracture
  • Physical evidence of vertebral fracture:
  • • Loss of height > 2 inches
    • Wall-occiput distance > 0 inches
    • Rib-pelvis distance < 2 fingerbreadths
    • Fewer than 20 teeth
